Es Gul, local ice-cream - May 06

Pouring into the Es Gul container

Freezing the ice-cream syrup

If you see a cart selling food, chances are it's either a cart selling beef balls or Es Gul, the local ice-cream in Timor. The ice cream is made with a mixture of syrup, sugar and water and then poured into a metal container. As you can see in the picture, the container is then put into a styrofoam container and then freezed by the ice beneath the styrofoam container. As to how it taste like, I haven't try it yet because I think my stomach is still not very strong. Maybe you can tell me. :)
