There are fights at Tasitolu(west), Becora(East) and Lahani(South)', '25 May - The faithful day where friends turned to foe.The army fought the police and when the police surrendered themselves, soldiers shot at unarmed officers. Everyone in Timor stayed at home the whole day, including myself. Gun shots could be heard everywhere.', '26 May - Australian soldiers and warship arrived in Dili. (This is the best I could manage from my taxi)', 'A drive down to Caicoli - Clothes, shoes, utensils, blood - I imagine fleeing civilians and police officers, and soldiers shooting.', 'A police cap soaked with blood and a police beret. The first soldiers I saw are at the airport. I heard gunshots this morning on the way to the airport.', 'This guy have one of the meanest gun. The bottom part looks like a grenade launcher.', 'Even the army dog is flown in.', 'There are also those without any weapons but they certainly are not taxi drivers.', 'Outside the airport, there are many timorese hanging around. I asked them what they are doing and they said they were hoping that they can flee to darwin. I wonder how many made it....', 'At the background(behind the fence), there\'s an armoured vehicle(looks like a tank) and these soldiers are getting on board.', 'As you can see, many of them are with their full pack and ready for action.', 'Shortly after the Merpati place arrived, the Australian air force flew some people out of East Timor.', 'Not surprisingly, reporters and tv crew are everywhere.', 'One of the soldiers guarding the air strip. (there are some helicopters in the background)', 'As I leave(albeit reluctantly), I saw the soldiers still busy unloading and loading equipment. It seems they are ready to launch a major assault if required. I wonder when this \"war\" will end. Sigh.' );
